  • Record vital signs, measure and record height/weight/BMI, food intake and output
  • Collect specimens
  • Ensure safety devices are in use and universal precautions are followed to prevent the spread of infection and disease
  • Observe residents and note any physical, condition, attitude, reactions or appetite changes
  • Monitor dining room during meal time
  • Observe resident rights
Qualifications:

LNAs must come to work as scheduled and demonstrate dependability and punctuality. It is imperative to remain current with nurse aide certification through attendance of staff development programs and seminars.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Successfully completed a state approved nurse aide training program
  • Must understand both spoken and written English
  • Must hold a current certification and registration with the New Hampshire Board of Nursing
  • Must have worked as a nurse’s aide no less than four months of full-time in a health care setting unless demonstrating competence through satisfactory participation in a state approved nurses aid training and competency evaluation program
  • Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state or local law

Job Description: Aynsley Place, a 46-bed assisted living center is seeking Personal Care Attendants to compliment our team of licensed nurses and licensed nurses aides. Aynsley Place will provide a PCA training course to persons interested in this position.

Essential duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Provide supplemental care for multiple residents throughout the center
  • Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs
